Hello...
I'll list all of the event types and techniques in a few minutes.
Cup
The Cup is the most common race in RR3. It involves 16 and 22 car grid race. You must get to the first place by overtaking all cars and defending your position by blocking the opponent from overtaking you, hit them until they do some insane braking on the grass and using this technique: 2WG-2WT. It means 2 Wheels on Grass-2 Wheels on Track. You can use this technique in all races except for Drag Race. If you use this technique, you'll have an advantage of overtaking cars but make sure you use this technique on the inner part of the turn, not the outer part of the turn.
Endurance
Endurance is all about travelling further to win the event. You'll start with 60 seconds. Overtaking cars will add 10 seconds to the timer and completing one lap depends on how long the track is. Before you race, make sure to buy some upgrades for your car because as you travel further, the opponent gets steadily better and better. If you find that the opponent car is blocking you from overtaking, use this technique: B-T-O which means Brake-Turn-Overtake. It's a little bit similar to 2WG-2WT but the difference is when you have trouble to overtake an opponent on a turn, use B-T-O. Before you turn, brake a little bit early and then head for the outer or the inner part of the turn. After that, overtake your opponent after you've done the second step of the technique. It sure sounds easy but actually, it's not.
Elimination
Elimination is about preventing from getting to the last place. You only have 20 seconds to overtake your opponent or you'll be eliminated. Try to go offline because the offline opponents are much easier to be overtaken. Use the same technique that I've mentioned just now.
Autocross
Autocross is an event which you must manuever your car past the challenging part of the track. You must upgrade your car to win this event. The goal is to set your best time on the challenging part of the track.
Speed Record
Speed Record is setting your fastest top speed in one lap. If you have enough money, try to buy Engine and Drivetrain upgrades. It increases your car's top speed and acceleration. If you find the event is difficult, turn off the braking assist. This might cost you with significant decrease in Servicing. The reason why you should turn off the braking assist is when you set the braking assist to either Low or High, your car will brake before a turn just as you almost beaten the highest top speed of the session.
Speed Snap
The objective of this event is to beat the top speed of your opponents at the finish line. You must upgrade your Engine and Drivetrain before you enter this race. There's one technique that can be used during this event: HB-HA which means Half Brake-Half Accelerate. The point is you must brake at the half of the turn. When you enter the another half of the turn, you must let off the brakes and hit the gas pedal.
Drag Race
There's nothing much to explain about Drag Race. There are three rounds in Drag Race. When the lights show green, press the "Launch" button but try not to press the button too early or you will get a false start. If you get three false start, you will be disqualified. Here's one tip to win the event. Just before your car hit maximum RPM, shift up to get a perfect launch.
Head To Head
It's just you and one opponent racing in this event. Some of Head To Head races only have one lap. Remember to use all of the techniques that I've mentioned earlier except for HB-HA.
Time Trial
The Time Trial is a new event that is available through the Prestige Update. You'll race one lap to set a new time. Don't go off-track or your time will not be submitted. Each time you enter a Time Trial event, you consume a Drive. The Drive is like a permit to set a new lap time on a track. Just remember that Drive will take a little bit longer to refill.
